Objective Proficiency p 79. Problems and Solutions in Education. Extra speaking

Educate a man and you will be taking a criminal off the street. Education is a great tool for helping a person’s mind to think rationally in order to make right decisions. It builds people. Despite having this knowledge, there are a lot of problems facing education. I will try to highlight the leading causes for the poor quality of education and possible ways out.

Some of the causes for the poor state and quality of education are: Poor funding, corruption, politicization of education,  indiscipline, poor parenting and guidance, lack of teaching aids, unstable curricula and subjects, unstable staff, lack of qualified teachers, and unaffordable Education.

The possible ways out are: good funding, curbing of corruption, depoliticize education, good parenting and guidance of children to embrace education, stability of staff, availability of qualified teachers, affordable education for all

In conclusion, we will be able to see real changes in the level of education if the solutions proffered above are taken into consideration. Our future is in our hands.
